Weddings
Weddings are one of life’s great moments, a time of commitment, as well as celebration.
Marriage is a sacrament and is intended by God to be a lifelong covenantal relationship, as symbolised by the exchanging of rings. His blessing allows a husband and wife to love and support each other, in good times and in bad.
As Christians, marriage is also an invitation to share life together in the spirit of Jesus Christ.
At the time of their wedding, the bride and bridegroom make their promises before witnesses and receive God’s blessing as symbolised by the priest's stole.
