Funerals
The church community can help to give hope and comfort in difficult and challenging times.
Funerals are an important part of our ministry at St. Cross. We spend time talking to families, comforting them and finding out what kind of service they would like.
If you are a member of the congregation or live in the Parish, you have the right to have a funeral at St. Cross.
The service is for friends and family to gather, to express their sadness, to celebrate and give thanks for the life of their loved one and to commend them into God’s merciful keeping.
You can find out more about funerals at the Church of England’s website.
Funeral arrangements are usually handled by your Funeral Director, who will contact Fr. Chris in the first instance.
