We are working on finding the best ways to bring our worship and church life online to help our congregation and community stay connected and involved during this difficult time. This is new territory for all of us involved so we hope you will bear with us while we work out how we can manage this.
As you will have read in Fr Chris' letter (from 26th March 2020), it is no longer deemed safe for three of four people to gather on a Saturday in church to record a celebration of Holy Communion. Bishop David has given permission, whilst the lock-down continues, for lone celebration of the Eucharist to take place in rectories. With this in mind, Fr Chris will continue to celebrate at home and this service will be filmed and uploaded to our new YouTube channel so that you can watch and take part either at the usual time of 10:30am Sunday or at any time later from the comfort of your own home.
If Fr Chris has you on his postal mailing list, you should have received a service booklet in the post at the beginning of lockdown which you can use to follow along with the service as you would in Church.
Fr Chris has also compiled a booklet, Praying in the Pandemic, with a service, readings, collects and prayers for the next several weeks as well as some ideas for other ways to find worship online or on TV/radio.
